If you go down the Autocrat route and accept the Old Guard's offer to enact emergency powers, angering them will begin impeachment proceedings. In this ending, Anton Rayne gets impeached and sent to life imprisonment or in some cases, sentenced to death and shot at dawn. Support the leader all the way to get this ending. This can be achieved by losing to Lileas Graf in the USP Primaries, and defecting to either the PFJP, NFP or the People's Front. In this ending, Anton Rayne defects to another party, and later becomes the Vice President in 1962. Oppose Lileas' constitution all the way to successfully achieve this sub-ending. The easiest way to achieve this sub-ending is to deliberately destroy the economy towards the end-game after successfully passing an ultra-reformist constitution, leading to you getting kicked out of the USP. In this sub-ending, your new political party successfully block Lileas Graf's attempt to reform the constitution. If you supported the opposition's reforms, you will be stripped of your membership and retire in 1962 as an independent MP. In this sub-ending, you once again become an MP with the USP. Note that if you are likely to lose the election, Monica will ask you to retire, which will indicate that you are likely to get this ending. It's very hard to achieve this ending without either causing a coup, requiring a delicate balance between being unpopular and successfully ending the late-game protests. You can potentially lose the 1957 Elections to another party if you are unpopular. You will be assassinated by a Rumburgian as they scream "Or Dax Querna! Qival Rumburgia!" (likely translated as "Hail the Queen! Glory to Rumburg!" in Rummish) In order to achieve this sub-ending, do not fire Livia Suno during the sex scandal, and defeat Rumburg in the war. This is the easiest sub-ending to the Assassination ending. To get this sub-ending, nationalize both Heart of Sordland and Bergia Steel, and do not send either the SSP or ACP on them. They will eventually revolt and take over a dam, and if you do nothing about it, a Bludish assassin will kill you during your final speech while screaming "Yollak Bluderat" ( "Free Bludia" in Bludish). To get this sub-ending, enrage the Bluds with racist policies. It can be avoided by getting Serge's lucky charm before the reforms are passed in the assembly or by establishing Secret State Police. This will always happen at the final speech prior to the elections. This ending is achieved by making either the Oligarchs or Bluds angry enough to assassinate you. In this case, only Petr Vectern (your original VP) will follow you out of the USP. After losing, announce to your Vice President that you will form a new party for the election, and hope that your own popularity will carry over to your new party, helping you to win the election. To achieve this sub-ending, deliberately lose to Lileas Graf in the USP Congress by pushing anti-Sollist policies, and not arresting her for orchestrating the murder of Bernard Circas. Note that if you successfully avoid the nationwide revolt and deal with the Rumburg threat in some way (either by war or by joining ATO/CSP) on an emergency run, the USP will win the election regardless of your popularity. To achieve this sub-ending, simply stay in the USP and achieve victory. Winning the war against Rumburg guarantees re-election unless you get assassinated. It is achieved by keeping your public approval high by running a successful government by pulling the economy out of the recession, properly balancing tensions in the country and other things. In this ending, Anton Rayne achieves a second term, and the game ends with his second inauguration. The compass is divided in to four quadrants: Malenyevist, Sordish Reformism, Arcasian Capitalism, and Sollism. The political compass shows your ideological standing amongst other Sordish politicians.
